Swiss Village Bulk Foods is a family owned retail bulk food business that was started in 1980 by Mose and Erma Miller from Sugarcreek, Ohio. They started selling bulk food products from their 206 Factory Street location in Sugarcreek. After they were done placing all the products onto shelves, there was approximately 80 feet of shelving space. In July of 2000, their son Dustin and wife Linda Miller bought the store. They have devoted the store to be a place where customers feel welcome whether you shop in our store or online. Their store has grown tremendously. Today there is approximately 3,648 feet of shelving space, with an estimate of around 6,000 products. There are currently 26 employees. There are 6 different departments. We have the bulk food department, which has dry goods, spices, different kinds of mixes, dried fruits and nuts, and your basic baking supplies. Our health food department has beauty products, organic foods, Natures Sunshine vitamins, gluten-free products, and lots of other miscellaneous items. There is a health food department. We have a Massage Therapist, a Chiropractor, Reflexologist, Health Consulting, and Ion Foot Cleanses that are also available. In our health department we also carry Keen footwear. These are walking shoes or for casual occasions. The kitchenware department has all kinds of unique kitchen gadgets, canning supplies, and also Styrofoam products. We have a selection of around 75 different meats and cheeses in our deli department. In the deli, there is also an area to get a sandwich, a drink and ice cream to eat while you are shopping or going home.
